She fulfilled the same role in "Watchmen" that Megan Fox did in the far less engaging "Transformers" -- looking hot. Neither one of them could act their way out of a paper bag. But her shortcomings were nowhere near enough to derail an otherwise spectacular visually engrossing and interestingly plotted film. I think the biggest flaw in the film was in the casting of Laurie.
