Gays and liberals, you need to get to know some conservative Christians. Then you’ll see that they aren’t all cross-burning bigots who want to put you in concentration camps. Many of them just have an increasingly-unpopular view of what a family is and and its role in society, and they think their view is worth standing up for.

There is plenty of hatred, bigotry, hypocrisy and propaganda on both sides…so let’s not add to it, or buy into it. It isn’t the whole story. There’s a lot of decent people on both sides, and there’s an honest disagreement between them. When we look at how close the prop 8 vote was, we can’t rationally dismiss either side as rabid radical extremists.

What a shame that the amoral sacrilegious majority of california’s voters voted for the preservation of the 10,000 year old definition of marriage. Someone must have told them that different parts are married together while identical parts are joined, as in groups.

If the homosexual community would simply agree to civil unions and call them joinage, absolutely no one except a few crazies would give a flyin F***. But when those of us who spent years shopping for a tolerably compatible human of the opposite sex to procreate with and accept a lifetime of responsibility for the offspring are suddenly confronted with the institution’s demise by the most promiscuous group on earth (just check their stats), we kinda resent it.

How about that new “knock it off” campaign that says the word gay belongs to the homosexuals? Not True. They ripped it off from happy people.

For the record, all of the rhetoric about hate crimes and homosexuals overlooks the fact that homosexuals hate the other half of humanity. Homosexuality actually is a hate crime. Ironic isn’t it?
