Let’s see, where to start. Well, personally, I really enjoyed the movie and would deffinatly see it again but there were a few things that could have been done better. First off, they could have easily done more charactor work. They explain who Reed, Sue, and even moreso on Johnny, but they really don’t explain who Ben is. The only thing they tell us is that he’s married, wants to see his wife again and go back to being a normal human again, and he’s Reed’s best friend. With Johnny they did a superb job in my opinion. They captured the whole “I enjoy being a dick who doesn’t listen” and made him look like a teenager who knows how to have a good time. The main thing that bothered me about the movie is the things they got wrong. As far as I know Reed and Sue were either married or together at least when being changed, none of the Doom stuff in there. And I havn’t read the comics or seen the show (90′s, Fox kids) for quite some time, but from what I do remember, Doom isn’t changed while up there and he certainly doesn’t have anything with Sue. But I’m guessing they added that in there to put some of that Hollywood stuff into it.

By the way, sorry if I’m just writing my own review, I’m just trying to say what could have gone better.

But what I really liked about it is also great. Johnny is the favorite of most people I know who saw the film just because he’s the most fun. I really liked the interaction of Ben and Johnny especially at the Moto-cross rally and afterwards. The one thing about that part was the fact that a Ferarri was crumpled up into a ball. But over all I really liked it. It was much better than Daredevil and I havn’t even bothered to see Elektra which was just a chance for Jennifer Garner to wear low-cut shirts and look like she knew what she was doing. Then on the other side, X-men and Spiderman are at least 10 times better. If they are going to make another one then I think it will be better, Now that they have introduced everyone they can go on and devolop the charactors a bit better and tell the story. So all in all it was a really good movie in my opinion, I know that most people didn’t like it but I did and I think that means something in my mind. I thought that the review was really good and well written and explained the opinions and thoughts of the writer but I don’t think that he was jacking off in the back of the theatre for this. Sin City is Alba stripping and he might have brought this one home… But none the less, these are my thoughts.

Thanks for the constructive comments, KB. I think I will be a better reviewer if I stop jerking off in the theater. Lord knows, I’ll probably find it easier to read my notes when I sit down to write the review.

Angela … there was a lot to like in FF, and hey, I was a LOT softer on it than many of the critics. Looks like there will be a sequel, and I’m actually looking forward to it.

good luck not getting your ass kicked?What in the name of Satans portion passes as an upbringing for you children?One of you tells us over and over that the movie is “great”,the other threatens violence for any differing with his sophisticated cinematic leanings,and neither of you cite any particular reason or stand-out sequence to indemnify your choices.

dude.. i dont know what your problem is but Fantastic 4 was a great movie.. the humor was perfect and the special effects were flawless.. i suggest you go see it again and actually pay attention instead of jerking off in the back row..

What are you talking about… Fantastic four is an awesome movie. I’ve seen it about 10 times and I always love it! you must have fallen asleep while watching it because it was great. Amazingly great!!! It’s my favorite movie. You have no right to say it was bad, Because it wasn’t for everbody (as in me!!). Some people thinks that the movie is okay and predictable, but others think it’s just about great (for example myself). Oh well suit yourself. What kind of movie’s do you like anyways?? You probably don’t like good movies. You should really take other people’s comments into consideration.
