They also pay about $2/hour more than all other fast food places. They foster education. High school students have to show their semester grades to maintain their work schedule hours....if grades slip, hours are cut. If you are in college they work around your schedule. If you have a family they work around family obligations. They promote from within. They ALWAYS have enough staff to work a shift and their employees are genuinely friendly and helpful. The food is high quality and always fresh. The "Secret Menu" is just a lot of silliness borne out of years of people asking for something a little different and In and Out giving it to them over and over. You sell it often enough and eventually people call it something and a fad is born! It's like a legend passed down from generation to generation. Ha! the first one was asking for grilled onions!
