Hey Steve I agree that Cary Elwes should have been Faceman and Dolph Lundgren would have made a good Decker, but unfortunately they did not see it that way. Maybe we will have better luck next time.

Not a bad list by John Marcotte and a few I overlooked, but they are decent choices.

This was the list my co-workers and I compiled…

1. Hannibal Smith = George Clooney
2. Murdock = Johnny Knoxville
3. Faceman = Cary Elwes or Casper Van Dien
4. B.A. = Ice Cube

It appears that Col. Decker is not going to used in this movie, but my pick would have been Dolph Lundgren for that role…

I think the actual cast chosen for the film is absolutely horrible…

Not to say the actors are not talented, just not for this film. They did a poor job on casting

This is one franchise so silly they just should have left it alone. How could people always find the A-Team but the government agents never could?

Still, it was a favorite of mine from the 80’s.

Okay, so I’ve told you who’s gonna be in the movie. But who should the team be up against? Col. Lynch, Col. Decker, Gen. “Bull” Fullbright, or another? Then, let’s talk sequels. Eddie Velez played the character Frankie Santana & was added to the team when they were pardoned and worked for Gen. Stockwell (Robert Vaughn). Wilmer Valderama would totally be perfect for the Frankie character. Tia Carrere was introduced at the end of the fourth season as Gen. Fullbright’s daughter and was intended to join the team in the fifth season, but she had a contract with General Hospital and they wouldn’t let her out of it to do the A-team. It would be awesome if she did a cameo in the film.

Hey, that would have been a good choice too. Do you know who they got? Sharlto Copley. Yeah, I had to ask, “Who’s that?” also. He played Wikum in “District 9″. Still don’t know who this guy is though. I think any of the choices we’ve listed here would’ve been better. Oh well, enjoy the show.

Joel McHale from the SOUP and COMMUNITY FOR MURDOCK
